De Paul Schoolis a catholic institution established and managed by the Northern Indian Province of the Congregation of the Mission (CM) under Acts 20 and 30 of the Constitution of India. This province is registered under Societies Act No. 1860 (XXI of 1860) as Vincentian Orissa Society in 1959. All its members are Catholics, a religious minority community. The Congregation of the Mission, founded by St. Vincent De Paul in 1965, is very prominent in the field of education and has schools, colleges and Universities of its own in almost all the countries of the world.
It has got blissful patronage of very many great saints, scholars, thinkers and philosophers which in itself is a very rate thing as well as as a great divine asset for the institution.
WE REALIZE THIS VISION (MISSION):
A child is not a finished product. It is a powerhouse of immense potentialities. There is much more beyond (PLUS ULTRA) in its tiny appearance. Becoming aware of this potentiality is the rooting of the child’s path to growth. Development of these potentialities helps the child to be a spring of excellence. We commit ourselves in the light of the Gospel Values and the Vincentian Charism to transform students into persons of competence, conscience, compassion, character and faith, in collaboration with all to build up a just and humane society.
